Priceless

This application has helped our daughter excel to a new level in one month. Our daughter has very low vision and she loves this application. She is able to identity letters, shapes and more. Highly highly recommend for low vision and normal sighted children!

Little Writer

Excellent! Every school district should be buying this for handwriting!

PLEASE READ

Ive already given this app five stars, but when I got to the numbers, it only goes from zero to nine. PLEASE MAKE THE NUMBERS GO TO AT LEAST TO THIRTY. Thank you.

Fix this please

This is a great app but you need to able to save customization changes! This has to be fixed. 5 stars if you can save changes.

Fun learning experience

My 3 and half year old would never want to learn to write letters. It was difficult to get him to sit to do a worksheet. With this app he simply kept on tracing letters for 30 mins straight and enjoyed it quite a bit . Absolutely love the app

Great for toddlers!!

I love this app! My son is 3-1/2 and working on letters and numbers. I love the tracing effect. It also allows you to add custom sounds and words! Ok, downside - the sound seems to be buggy and wont always work. And it doesnt appear to save the sounds you record, so once the app closes, theyre gone. Does force close randomly. But the basics are great and it serves its intended purpose!! I will still be recommending to friends!

My son loves this app!

No annoying shenanigans, just a simple interface with great function, caps and lowercase, numbers, shapes, and something else. Thanks for letter help!

Not a big fan

The tracing is too touchy. If you dont follow it perfectly it makes you start over. What kid writes or traces perfectly?

3 year old friendly. Awesome!

My son is 3 years old and has difficulty imitating what I try to show him when using simple pen and paper. He can not only do this better, but its fun and captures his attention. Amazing app. Couldnt be better! Love it! Good job!

Fabulous, using it with child with special needs

We got this for our son with cerebral palsy. He has others that he liked but this has become the preferred program. The game is flexible enough to allow him to make a mistake, in which case it doesnt allow the mistake but it does save the progress he had made on a letter so far. He made much faster progress with this than other letter tracing apps and with the use of a stylus we hope to be able to eventually progress to pen and paper. For our son, writing with pen and paper will never be practical for a whole document but we do want him to be able to sign his name and write the alphabet (for now). This app is fabulous for learning.

A great app to develop motor skills

Im teaching my 32 months how to write and this app is great to teach her how to trace. This will develop her motor skills which will make learning to write easier. She loves this app too. We both enjoy it!

Better than some

I think its a pretty good learning app. My toddler is 3 and was able to trace well before I got this app, I just wanted her to have options other tracing apps didnt provide. The fact that the entire app is about tracing only is what sold me on it. Some other apps include silly additional games that I didnt see as necessary.

Great teaching tool

My son starting learning his letters on a Vtech baby "laptop." By age 18 months he could point out and rapidly recall each letter of the alphabet. I got him this app b/c I wanted him to further cement that knowledge base and be further interactive. Now, he just turned 2, and is able to easily finger trace most letters, numbers and shapes. Hes advanced, yes. However his 4 yr old sister has similar abilities by using these 2 tools. They are ahead of the game and seem to love playing the apps. Ps, Im not some rep for the app. Honestly! If you go on Amazon you can find iPad , the original, for about $100 dollars. Its not update able past iOS5.1, but I havent ran into any snags with them and my kids love these iPads. I now get mine back! Sweet Heaven!

Sad

My 3 yr old actually liked it WHEN IT WORKED! I had to set the sound to "ON" EVERY time I accessed the app. Without the sound it isnt as fun. The fact that they are teaching the children to draw the letter incorrectly was a second reason I will be deleting it.

Best app ever!

My little cousin is four, and he is learning so much. He asks me every time he comes over to play this game. He is also starting to read the words. He LOVES this game! 5 star totally!

Brilliant!

Adding customized words, pictures, and sounds makes this game a lot of fun. By frequently updating the items, it keeps things fresh and interesting for little ones.

Needs improvement

My little bro loves this but...... he wants the rest could you make it like $0.56 please? Or else he will do the puppy face

Poor little lefties.

I read the previous review as I was entering the section to compose this one. My left-handed daughter makes many of the strokes from right to left; the middle of the letter A, for example. I have tried several apps and none of them have a lefty setting. It would be beneficial to quite a few of us.

Absolutely love it!

I love this letter tracing app for my toddler! (As a former preschool teacher, I am hard to please in this area) It teaches the proper order to do the strokes for each letter, and it is more forgiving (and less frustrating) than some other tracing apps I have found. My son loves the tractor feature, and the icing on the cake is that all the letters are included in this free app. If I could rate 10 stars I would!

Great app

Both my kids learnt to trace using this app. Could not be happier.
